Welcome to Thorney Offroad, the offroad division of Thorney Motorsport.

At Thorney Offroad we specialise in the Arctic Cat sport and utility side by sides (SxS) and sport / utility quads as well as Yamaha sport / utility quads and utility side by sides.

We feel it is important when deciding to purchase an offroad vehicle that you are able to actually experience it in an environment in which it is likely to be used day to day, so home for Thorney Offroad is a 26 acre farm and custom built workshop and showroom where we have all the Arctic Cat and Yamaha side by side and quad ranges on display and available for test drives.
We also have our own test track and even a race track to try out the Arctic Cat and Yamaha range of SxS and quad sport and racing models, all on site.

We are also an EASI® (European All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute) approved instructor which means we can provide safety training courses for ATV riders. Buyers who purchase a new Yamaha ATV from us here at Thorney Offroad are eligible for FREE or highly subsidised EASI® Rider training, subject to qualifying terms, conditions and availability. Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i H.O.

Being on a small holding means that we understand the needs of todays modern farming community; reliability, performance, running costs are critical so we are able to offer clear advice on which model will suit your needs most perfectly.

At the same time we have significant experience in motorsport running cars in the British Touring Car Championship and other national and international series so our expansion into the off road racing side and the sports areas is a simple extension to our skills base. With our own race track you will be able to try out the latest sports SxS models such as the Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i H.O. or any of our extensive range of upgrades up to and including full race preparation.

Wildcat 1000i H.O.

Late in 2011 Arctic Cat launched the Wildcat 1000i H.O. This side by side promises to be the most powerful SxS to date and features many ground breaking features. Here in the UK Thorney Offroad are the first to offer the Wildcat 1000i H.O SxS for sale. To reinforce theconfidence Thorney Offroad have in the Wildcat 1000i H.O. they plan to prepare two such machines for competitive offroad racing here in the UK.

Side by Side Racing

Side by side racing is a fast growing, extremely exciting form of offroad racing. It's fast becoming the most popular form of side by side racing here in the UK. At Thorney Offroad we have our own side by side racing team, using the highly tuned and uprated Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000i H.O. side by side.
Being a race car team we are adept at modifying the Wildcat 1000i H.O. side by side for offroad racing with upgrades to the chassis, cage, suspension, brakes and power train which maximise the already stunning performance. A lot of the upgrades come from our partners in the USA where SxS racing has been going for a long time but others are home grown, our race cages are all designed in house and manufactured in the UK as are a lot of our other upgrades.
